Somewhere out there beneath the pale moonlight
Someone’s thinking of me and loving me tonight
Somewhere out there someone’s saying a prayer
That we’ll find one another in that big somewhere out there
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we’re sleeping underneath the same big sky
Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we’ll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true
There’s a place for us
Somewhere a place for us
Peace and quiet and open air
Wait for us
Somewhere
There’s a time for us
Someday a time for us
Time together with time to spare
Time to learn, time to care
Someday, somewhere
We’ll find a new way of living
We’ll find a way of forgiving
Somewhere
There’s a place for us
A time and place for us
Hold my hand and we’re halfway there
Hold my hand and I’ll take you there
Somehow
Someday
Somewhere
Brian,
I feel your pain. It’s definitely not what we had expected before we married our supposed Loving Japanese wives. Not only do Japanese people seem some calm, honest and faithful, they are very crafty when it comes to what they can do within their legal system. The fact the Govt. doesn’t help us, is the true travesty of Justice and Violation of all human rights. Keep the good thoughts and someday, we can all make up for lost time? (To be denied all those precious years is what really hurts)
I stay busy with work and just pray for a better tomorrow, but Kai is on my mind every and all day. It’s the scar, I shall always carry.
Stay strong brother!
Peace,
Tim Johnston

Brian,
Your poems to you son are always touching and I can feel your sadness. Never give up hope!
someday, he will find you and your documentation and pictures will draw him closer than you can imagine, It has happened for Steve Christie and some others. I suppose us left behind parents are fortunate to at least have the internet in the hopes of what might and should be.

Thank you Tim. I appreciate the solidarity, and wish the same for you.
Still, I don’t think I want to wait for that day. Rui has very deep needs that cannot be filled without my help.
It’s such torment!
